I’m addicted to porn. That’s pretty much it. This includes watching naked women and men. I like seeing pictures of people having sex and I love watching the videos. It’s completely wrong and I hate when I do it. It’s separating me from GOD and I am a christian but this is my toughest obstacle. How can I overcome my porn addiction. I need serious answers. If I have the opportunity to watch porn. I will. No matter what. What can I do?

Pray and ask JESUS to break it. Admit to Him that you cannot stop, and that HE needs to do that in you. Ask Him also to fill you with His Holy Spirit, to overpower the desires of the flesh.
And know that Jesus is for you! Believe in JESUS for His free gift of eternal life in heaven, and you are forgiven all sins, no matter what those sins are, all sins past, present, and future, and you will be in heaven no matter what, and never in hell!

I am shocked to learn just how many women love porn. I always thought it was just for guys. If you really want to break your addiction, seek the truth behind the “fantasy” that the porn producers sell to you. Read about all of the violence and oppression that women and children throughout the world go through. Seek the truth and reality behind the lie.

There are a couple of things I can say here that may sound a little ridiculous from where you’re coming from. But I assure you, I am being very serious.
First of all, by watching porn you are not separating yourself from God. You are separating yourself from what your parents, your preacher, and authority figures who try to dictate your life. “God”, as long as you believe in One, is not a human being. If you believe God to be perfect in all things then giving Him human traits makes Him imperfect. “God” has more important things to worry about than your love of porn.
Your dealing with your own guilt, and worried that your parents will catch you and knock you around, so to speak.
But in all honesty, the best way to break your porn addiction, or at the very least not watch it so much…. have sex. I’m serious. At your age it’s scary, and it’s exciting, and a lot of fun for years to come. But there’s nothing better than getting the real thing.
Of course, make sure you’re being responsible, being safe, and don’t turn into a monster. being educated in this area is healthy, and God will not punish you for being smarter and wiser.

Well, I actually know people who work in the industry and from what I know, it would be like watching your friends at work–boring if it isn’t “real” and those who are addicted to such material, I just hope that they someday fully open their senses to experience real life outside their restrictive paradigms.

Addictions are caused by spirits. If you understand this truth you can easily overcome the obstacle. To remove that spirit you have to divert your mind on something else. You may watch other type of movies particularly action (stunt) movies which have no sex scenes. You may watch Walt Disney’s children movies too. Your addiction must be transferred to some other thing. You must enable the spirit of (for example) action movies to possess you. In the beginning you may feel tougher then gradually you will realize how it works. The new spirit will kick out the bad spirit and find a permanent place in you. Just try and see the results.
You need to understand the truth behind what is being sold to through the T.V. I think it was 20/20 that had a special on it a few years ago and they claimed that the porn industry is rampant with STD’s, and that some actors and actresses end up with HIV and get severe cases of Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Herpes (including in their THROATS; ouch). A Dr. that dealt with some of the porn actresses said that they often had severe trauma, ripping and tearing and bruising to their bodies from doing the porn that was equivlent or worse than most rape victims…
In other words you are being sold a lie. Sex is supposed to be an act of love and that is what makes it great. The cheap lies that you are watching and buying into are going to pervert your thinking and pretty soon the sin will consume you. By that, I mean that the addiction will rule you and you won’t have control anymore. What you NEED to do, is to stop now. Find a counselor or someone to talk to for support and find a new habit to replace the bad habit. Keep yourself super busy so that you have very little time to think about it (go swimming, go jogging, play a sport, volunteer, start baking, take dance, even better join a church activity). When you find yourself tempted or thinking about it RUN and find something else to occupy your mind or take a walk. Pray in your moment of weakness. After a week or two if you don’t give in then you will find yourself thinking less and less about it until finally you break free.
